HAND COUNTING
Many of the inhabitants of Rahar have their own variations of written number systems. Hand counting has come about as a more universal way to communicate numbers between inhabitants. Due to the the stage of technological development, most societies rarely deal in any numbers in the double digits, and even less likely in the triple digits; thus hand counting can only reach 110 using both hands.
The inhabitants have five fingers, and use base 10 because of the ease to represent up to 100 with their hands. The back of the hand is only represented by tick marks (the rest of the hand grayed out here.) The palm is represented by the circle under the tick marks. Using one's hands to indicate a number to someone else, one must face their own hands towards the other person. Left and right are still according to the one displaying the number, and must be read backwards from what they would read on their own hands.
